First in a small set of sudoku solution plays (all included in this volume), that I recorded relatively soon after my first stumbling upon the sudokaising technique in April 2006. Recorded in 2006, it uses a cassette tape that, on one side, has a recording made in an Amsterdam tram (one woman adressing another one [« Wat ik nou wel heb... »), and on the other side a recording made in the bus in Maastricht, just before and during the bus' arrival at its final destination on the Vendelplein in Malberg, where my mother lived until her demise in December 2017. In that recording there's a couple of teenage boys, bragging, and uttering pretty disturbing racist and xenophobic phrases. All of it in Dutch... (« Integreren of wegwezen ; vies volk die Turken ; hou je bek, zwarte joekel ... ») ... Bref... Sad... « Hé Frodo, waar is je ring gebleven? »
