Sudoku recorded as part of a contribution to an edition of RInus van Alebeek's 'Das kleine field recording festival', in 2007, probably in Berlin. The cassette I use here has on one side (I think it is) FlexRex reading a French 'intellectual' text, on the other side my mother asks me who I will be voting for in the upcoming Dutch parlementary elections, adding—to my astonishment— that she is 'not allowed' to vote for the Labour candicate. « Dao maag iech neet op stumme, » she says in the Maastricht dialect. Whereop I retort, in a surprised voice: « Maag neet ?!! » ...
